There is a guy in InterSport in Mayrhofen, goes by the name of Marcus. I know people who swear by him, and go back on a regular basis to buy from him. I have witnessed him in the shop, and he only advises based on what the customer is looking for and what would be best in terms of the right product. He is not driven by price.
Thoroughly decent chap too.

'tis true.

Any one who skis as well as he does, drinks as much as he does and likes AC/DC into the bargain just HAS to be a geezer.

iceghost check out the soles on your regular shoes and you will see how much out of alignment your feet are.When i bought boots years ago i took my regular shoes along to show the tecnician,Long before the fancy machines that calculate the cant as they do now.You`ll get a better idea of what ise is trying to explain.

Spot on Tony.

Pronation = Flat footed,little or no arch

Supinated = High arches

With 26 bones
33 joints
107 ligaments
and 19 muscles we take our feet for granted, pretty complex arent they.

Footbed canting is serious stuff and will affect the whole way you stand on your skis.

ise, iceghost is a suitable candidate for an expert bootfitter. I know you're sceptical, but do you have bone screws in your feet?

indeed I have a screw head poking out of my foot. It's great at parties Thank you guys so much for all your help!
Uh oh, I think I broke'd the lift
