Yep. They were discussing the size and firmness of it so she had a little squeeze!

I'm taking the photo! That's Kim my other half with the pink (unbelievably expensive) Eisbar ears and my mate Howard.

The race was on the Olympic Mens Course (Banchetta). We skiid the Womens Olympic Course, which Chemmy thought was more difficult, and you're right, some of the steep bits you know full well they wouldn't have touched but would have flown staight over.

Great pics, Keith.

Those ears are much worse then the tiger ones.

Gonner-ear, as Skidaddle christened Kim when she lost one of them :D

Did you see Julia Mancuso nearly kill herself? Crikey, she did well to keep upright.

Is the snow still any good?

The 'random bloke' in your piccies seemed to be aluding (spelt write?) to the fact that the bloke who prepared her skis was hopeless  Wonder if Pavel wants a job
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Great photos Elistine. Much better than ordinary ski photos of great snow, resort and happy hours.

About her skis, I was watching Ski Sunday and they had a segment about Lindsey Vonn and her personal ski technician. The ski tech said he has about 30 pairs of skis for Vonn and will select exactly the right pair for the conditions. When asked about how much time difference the correct pair of skis can make he said about 2 seconds. It's known Chemmy doesn't have that kind of support and financing around her, she'd ski faster if she did.

It's one of those catch twenty two things I should imagine. You can't get the ski sponsor to spend the dosh until you get the results and you can't get the results until the ski sponsor spends the dosh.

Kelly Vanderbeek who came second at the weekend was also on Volkl skis so it shows the skis can be made to work well. Chemmy did look very gutted in the finish area and was getting a lot of hugs and commiserations form the American and Canadian girls. They all said she skied well, she just didn't have the speed.

Perhaps we should start a 'get Chemmy some decent planks' fund!

If I had several pairs of skis, I'd give her one.
