Get impact shorts from slush and rubble and there might not be any visible bruising!

thought that was last year :!: surely the current snow conditions warrant a return to Snow&Rock :?:
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

have faith, it's coming. The order was placed a few weeks ago and delivery is expected soon. Besides, all this cold weather may help to strengthen the base and prolong the season

I would recommend a couple of trips to the snow dome before you go, just to get used to the basics so you dont waste time when you get there.

Regarding eating:

Mo's half way down the main street is excellent, huge portions, good value, Tex Mex type of food but varied menu.

There is an Italian, cant remember its name, just off the main street, in a semi circular building, not as far down the hill as Mo's. Good food there.

Pramstraller Hotel down the bottom is excellent, as is the Kramerwirt Hotel, superb food but a little more pricey.

Coop and More is a modern bar not far down the main street, and their food is also very good. Well worth a few trips.

Mannis Hotel also has a great restaurant.

As for lunchtimes, any of the cafes on the Penken are ok for pasta, wienerschnitzel, etc and not bad prices either. If you go on the Ahorn, make sure you eat and drink in the first restaurant out of the cable car lift, just down on your right, go in and say hi to David, hes English but has lived out there for years, and he will probably shout you a schnaps! Very friendly place.

Enjoy.

Sounds good! It's almost a shame we've got half-board accomodation!
