The Scotish issue.
Rossfra8, what can I say! It would be quite a scandale , you representing England. I was thinking more of you representing Europe. Would that be a problem?
Do you all see how from one common interest we can "live" together. If we however go deeper into our backgrounds, there are issues, events, organizations, etc...that seems to make us different.
I have no problem with you representing Europe. Do you want me to formally present it to the staff of J2ski and have them pass it along to the European Union's next meeting?

Please do not be offended by my lack of understanding "international" terms. What is TGR?
Rossfra8,
Is this a ski organization? A media?

Rossfra8,
Dhuuuuuuu!!!! It hit me. Of course Scotland is not a state within the USA ( yet)!
Of course you can not represent the Americas!
You are formally removed from debate panel.
Now do we have volunteers?
Please forgive lapse of intelligence. Can I use over-dose of morphine as "excuse"!
If ever you see me or we meet you will laught and understand why this is so "humbling"!
First faux pas with Bandit , now you! I must learn to, "observe" more!

Oh Pavel...
This is a good one :!:
But it may start another world war - but being the kind people true skiers really are - it would be only a war of words.
YHZ is about a 20 minute drive and if there was a corporate jet there to meet I'm sure I could make it in 10. The concodre passed over head one day and I almost beat it to the airport. -- It took off after dark and the wait was worth he sight. (Both concordes had landed in Halifax a number of times - now I waiting for a NASA shuttle's emergency landing as Halifax is designated as an alternative landing site if required. That would be neat :!:)
But it seems I may bring out the shotgun from storage - maybe it has grown to be a canon now.
This could be interesting but certainly educational. My skiing has been limited to Nova Scotia and one trip to MSA in Quebec. All seemed to get along well but as my memory kicks in I remember asking a girl on the chair at Martock (NS) from what part of Austrailia she came. I was able to determine her accent was Austrailian - not British.
Our "gripes" of differences are not international but rather inter-provincial. For example: "True North", the yacht built as Canada's Americas' Cup Yacht Race entry years ago was built in Nova Sciotia (about 30 minutes from my door) and then was crewed by "upper" Canada sailors. Canada lost --- why ?? because the crew only thought they knew how to sail a superior craft. The money behind the project was not from NS so superior sailors from the yacht's home were not given the chance to win the cup. Now "True North" is giving visitors to the Caribbean a chance at experiencing the thrill of sailing an Americans' Cup class yacht
Just call me - "off topic" Mike

I'd take part on the condition it was European and not "English". European I don't mind but England nooo. Somewhat similar to the dislike Canadians have for being called American!
