Ive not decided on accom yet but I did look at the Vagabond as an option. Ive yet to decide on dates although my boss has just said he will let me carry over some holidays to next year so it looks as tho im going to go in the new year now.

I may just book a flight for early Feb and then book the hotel/hostel nearer the time.

I'd recommend doing late January if you can - to avoid the half-term break; slopes will be less crowded and accommodation much easier to find.

Other than that, your choice of resorts with decent snow will almost certainly be better in January than December... although my onion skins are telling me we might get an earlier start this year... :lol:

Hi if your a single traveler and not bothered about having to share a room with randoms try www.outgoingski.co.uk they are excellent. you can get all your accomodation, ski hire, and food included for less than £500 and an extra £60 for a coach down to one of the alpine resorts. I went snowboarding with them as a single traveller and had a great time. Take a look and tell me what you think?
