Sun Peaks is a great friendly resort built in the Tyrolean style, you'll feel at home as soon as you arrive... The Ski school is excellent, and you might get a chance to ski with Olympic Champion Nancy Greene, who lives in the resort. The resort is a great place for families as several run lead back to the same lift base, so if someone takes a different run chances are you'll all meet up at the same lift base... Most of the terrain is suitable for the intermediate skier with a few challenging runs such as Hat Trick, Green Door, Headwalls, Challenger more extreme. The Snow Ghost, (trees covered in snow), are special if you get a good day take the lift up to the top of the mountain to see them and take your camera. If your a beginner or want a beautiful slow run back to the village ski down 5 mile, and take in all the wonderful views.
