It's not snow, it's white cement, truly leg breaking stuff. Bit lighter at the top but only just a bit by mid-mountain it's like skiing in cookies dough. So nothing to get excited about. I rarely say this, but I would rather have blue skies and sunshine than this 'snow'.

My little plan of a sneaky week in Tignes mid-April has been scuppered!

Les Deux Alpes is fab at the moment. Lower slopes poorish as usual but higher up the skiing is beautiful. Bluebird day all day today. :mrgreen:

Yep, the snow that arrived on Tuesday night was of much better quality than the snow of the previous two days. Still below 2000 m there is sheer ice but higher up skiing was very good minus the wind.

Well, I thought everyone knew this...

Sofas need time to settle Andy! They need to be delivered, then left in the house on their own for, say, oh about 8 days... alternatively, if they're not going to be delivered for a while then you'll need to leave the room to settle similarly.

Imagine how impressed your OH will be when you tell her that you've budgeted for "leaving the sofas to settle"... perhaps you could take a trip somewhere?

Ski bag packed. 2 more sleeps to VT......not that i am being smug or anything.
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens
