Thanks for that insight Mark, really useful. Can't remember if we get off at cluses, it is junction 18 whichever that is.

Like the octopus comparison :lol:

Hire car from geneva, if we get diverted the will be interesting especially if it is chamberry where I guess they don't have car hire?

I reckon it will take longer than the usual hour to get there, but like you say.....it will be worth it :)
