There are young people of all nationalities that work in ski resorts, including Scots, Welsh and Irish.
It is a choice that people make. There is a market rate, set by the amount that people are willing to pay for their winter holidays.

That's the problem. People want premium holiday destinations at third rate prices. They want to ski in Switzerland when realistically only can afford Bulgaria. And they don't want to self-cater. They want to be "catered" for and their hands held, but don't want to pay the price of it. And then they claim they don't understand why holiday in one country should cost more than holiday in another country. Too bad.

I don't see how it is a problem.
It is, as I said, a choice. Switzerland has made a choice on how much they wish individual workers to be paid, TOs make a choice on how they deal with the issue, and snow sporters make a choice on where they go, and how much they wish to spend.

Participating in hosted sessions is an activity that a segment of the market wants to participate in. Should this be significantly important to them, they will elect to go elsewhere.

It is the market that will decide.
