EoW Just back from second trip to Niederau. Am a bit more advanced than you but the Red Ski School there is excellent for all abilities with decent snow, good slopes for all levels.Only 1 hour transfer from Innsbruck too. Can recommend the Hannes Hotel for cleanliness, comfort and decent home style cooking. Hotel Sonnschein is more expensive but it shows with indoor pool, more food choice, bigger rooms etc AND so ends my first post on here, cheers

In the end I decided to go to Niederau. Looks like a good resort for beginners with good facilities. Easy enough to reach by public transport. It seems a bit family oriented so I hope its not too boring for a solo skier. Should be good quality snow with good instructors. Got a whole apartment to myself too so that's a bonus -the whole town is sold out for my week...this skiing thing seems to be really popular ;)

I'm sure you'll have a great time. I'm insanely jealous, was due to be there in Jan but had to cancel. Been going there for 10 years now although we tend to go to Hopfgarten to ski now. The ski school in Niederau is great. Post some pictures when you get back.

Nice pics! Is the rider of the ski-bike in a pile of arms and legs just out of frame? ;-)
