ha, we did also go to passo tonale skiing in feb last year tony so i had to compromise -) already saving for next year !!!! thanks for all your replys

I now live in Spain--75 mins from the Sierra nevada. Went up on Tues and it was glorious. 30cm of new snow on a base of 250cm. Bit windy on top but wonderful snow. Not a vast skiing area but great for the family and those not wanting too challenging pistes. Long wide blue runs--some 3-4 kms long. Then down to the Med for an a late afternoon beer!!

Lovely 2 home runs back to LT: a green and a blue.
Compact but lovely resort. 2 live music venues.
A lift from an upper part of the resort to the centre hub :)
If you go there you'll not be dissapointed!
