Not sure I'd agree with that. You can get too much snow. At lower levels the trees provide great protection from the worst of the weather. Also from high winds too. Besides, tree skiing is great fun; it's a bit like learning through playing (like kids do). Don't think lack of snow will be an issue anywhere in the PdS 1st week in Feb. If it is, there's always Avoriaz :thumbup:.

I wouldnt worry about the snow this year for 1st Feb. Everywhere is looking good. Quite agree Gaz regarding altitude, it is not always ideal for someone preferring cruisy blues.
