They make me giggle like a girl!

They certainly are a real challenge, and flexible knees are the order of the day. I am no expert either but will take them on at every opportunity.
I tend to focus a few bumps ahead and try to develop a rythmn. Of course i fall regularly but i find them such fun.
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

No music on the next Gopro vid then. We want to hear the snapzzz snortle...

I've tried proper moguls a couple of times. Not pretty at all and luckily I didn't pick any long runs. The au naturale black piste next to Arcelles in Val d'Isere looks horrendous. Anyone tackled that one? You can see the whole length of it when riding back up on the chair and it's not exactly heavily populated by skiers/boarders.

slippy slidey snow......me likey!

I know the one that you mean and have NO desire to try it - its not as steep as the red (weirdly) I dont think but it is bumps top to bottom.

No thanks!

Not wishing to sound too much like an old f*rt, I have mentioned before, that I just predate piste machines, at least in my early resorts.

At that time, if you were a guy, you skied 210 straight skis, any less and you were viewed as being a gal. (Course there was no stereotyping....) Gals skied 195s. Straights.

Hence, when it snowed, you were off piste. The next day, you were on chopped snow. Two days later, the mountain was a mogul field.

Then it snowed, and you were off piste, ......

There were no groomed slopes.

Just an observation.
