It likely wasn't the cold, but the heat in the summer. Lofts get extremely hot, enough to mess with the foam of the liner.

Obviously you have not been to the UK recently, I cant remember a day where my loft was hot ;)

If that is in case the fact, where would you suggest I keep my ski boots during the non skiing season? Is the cupboard the best place?

I will take them out of the loft then. The loft in my new build house is VERY cold. Well insulated. Not good for my ski boots :)

Dgou, do not give up these boots just yet. As they are still really quite new, there is a good chance that the liners can be remoulded to your feet.

All you need is the opinion of a decent Bootfitter :D

I was just thinking the same thing. Your feet haven't grown but nearly altered shape slightly.
When you say 'they do not fit' can you elaborate?
Can you get your foot in?
Are they just very tight?

Have you tried taking the liners out and testing the fit without them?

Unless you have become Shrek overnight i doubt very much they are finished.

I have exactly the same problem as you.
My boots felt really loose around my right ankle last season which I broke a few years ago. I agree with Bandit that maybe liners could be changed / remoulded.

I have enough of an excuse now to buy a pair so I am going to in resort in St Anton.

At my zumba class tonight, I was advised to take them to the local, and very well known in this area, ski shop, and get one of the technicians to look at them, so all is not lost. I will do that tomorrow lunchtime, and then make a decision as to whether I take them, as they do take up a good chunk of you 20kg luggage allowance, or just hire in resort. I am just cross with myself for not checking this earlier.

They were very tight around the calves, and part of my problem is that after my ankle op, I got Deep Vein Thrombosis so clamped in a tight boot all day might not be good for them!

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions, as usual I knew it was worth posting on here and I got some very useful responses (and not jokey ones from Tony H and Mr Wicked! sorry Wickham!
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!
