Snowplough, daft MW, lucky for CM. it's a tough market out their so you'd think all operators need to up their personal touch to keep custom.

Guess I'm lucky with choice of Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Birmingham all within 1.5 hrs from me, plus the tunnel not far off either :-)

(sorry fascination) back to topic...as you were saying "Club Med...."
if I'm not skiing then I'm kayaking.

Fascination, whilst CM is by no means cheap, CM looks to be reasonably good value for us, given we have 2 kids, both of whom will need lessons, some childcare and lots of food. Since I am not a good skier, I am also looking forward to lessons/guiding. I am off to CM at LDA the week before you, so I'll try to post to give you some tips.

Have been on 6 CM ski holidays. Food always good. Staff work tirelessly - I have 3 children - and felt safe and secure in the environment. Also like the fact that if you do join the lessons/guiding the teacher will have a walkie talkie so if anything happens to your children they can get to you! Secure in the fact that I didn't ever have to rush back down the mountain from my lesson knowing my kids were in safe hands. Letting them be 'free' in the hotel to make friends. no money needed ever (apart from buying the children's achievement badges)... all drinks all food ski pass lessons transfers flights... job done!

Hi, thanks for all replies, just one more question! I have been talking to the official CM site on Facebook, does anyone know if anyone dresses up on the theme nights? They have said, there will be black and white, pirates, 45 t shirt, colourful, and smart attire. It seems an awful lot of extra luggage to bring if no one else joins in. Does anybody know?

We didn't last easter in Tignes.
Some people did and some didn't. As far as I could tell it seemed to be those who partied hard were joining in - and I include children in this!
The "entertainment" seemed a laugh from what I saw but was in French.
I would say that you won't feel silly, or a party pooper if you don't dress up specially for the theme nights.

Jeans and casual clothes every night. There was a theme night, no advanced warning about it was given although I didnt religiously read the notice boards each day. It was some kind of pirate karaoke theme. The Germans and Swiss loved it and sang badly all night. After the first 30 minutes we went down to play table tennis as it was awful. Typical European classless stuff 8)

We didnt take any extra clothing out of the ordinary. The hotels are usually very warm so dont pack your bag with sweatshirts or jumpers.
