I haven't been in a few years but if you could guarantee the snow it is a fantastic place to explore the pds from-i don't think people judging it surely on last season is fair. If you had gone to a lot of resorts south of Geneva you'd have run into many difficulties low down
very pretty runs i remember with loads into the trees and if it is horrific its a short bus to avoriaz.
Oh and there's the swiss wall which is worth going for in itself!

Never, ever paid 15€ for a coffee....anywhere. Perhaps you forgot the big slice of cake you had with it;-)
