We went to Flaine for New Year last year. Similar situation. We were worried there would be no snow. They had a big dump on Christmas day, so there was plenty when we got there. They are pretty good at moving the snow around too. We have been there 2 years in a row as we really love it. we will be back again soon! Enjoy!

Went to Morillon last year in a poor snow week, the real saving grace was clearing off to flaine every day for the much better snow 8)

The main run which is sometimes closed over christmas is Daimonte Noir. Its a black run way up the top of the mountain.
A good run is a 10km one which takes reds, blues etc. I wouldnt advice this run for snow boarders because there is alot of uphill skiing.
Where in Flaine are you staying.
We normally stay at le totem.

there's about 80cm forecast at mid station over the next 6 days :O however could be rain lower down especially in the lower resorts like morrilon and les carroz
conditions should be perfect in flaine for that week though
