My opinion is I need 3 ski trips a year, so go to places that are affordable in the first place.

My opinion is I need 3 ski trips a year, so go to places that are affordable in the first place.

The other thing about France be selective on where you go, if you want to follow the crowds 3 V's,
Chamonix or Val you should expect to get fleeced, I have no real desire to ski any of these places
as I'm happy with the smaller resorts with 100 k's + of terrain. Just a personal opinion.Planning two trips this year don't think I will be able to afford three but you never know. :wink:

We don't drink much but a couple of beers between 2 of you each night soon adds up at £7 a go! Hence why we've been using catered chalets in recent years as you get free wine and can go to the supermarket for beers and keep them in the fridge.
I agree 100& on France. 3V's holds no interest for me. I would go to Val and one day I'll do Cham and the Valley Blanche, but theres other places to go first 8)
