Thank you for all the advise, I have spoken with the shop today and they have said they will do what ever it takes to make them right, and at the extreme replace the boot for a different boot.

will come back to you all on our progress.

That is a good result, Matt. Which branch of Brighams did you visit?

Thats exactly what they should be doing. Dont let them give you an unacceptable outcome. Its a seriously important issue with skiing.

News in News In!!

Got a really positive result on my girlfriends return to shop, she returned tot he shop and went to see the guy whom had fitted my boots. After explaining the problem he took the other boots stright off her without her even trying them on again and started the whole boot fitting process again.
Resulting in her getting a pair of boots which she feels amazing in and has great control off.

So if anybody else is going to use Ellis Brigham Castleford make sure you see Eddy he really knows his stuff.

Really happy that you got sorted out with a replacement pair  It's still wrong that your girlfriend experienced such bad service 1st time round. It's another example of why buying ski boots from a large chain store is a Lottery, as you have no idea if your fitter has any skills or training for the job.
There is now a UK association for professional ski boot fitters which provides training, and lists shops with accredited fitters. AFAIK the big chain stores are not participating, they train their staff in-house.
