Dids,
I was almost taken in by it as well ... and then I started thinking ... and remembered it was April Fool's day

I mean, some of these cruise ships are ridiculous - like this one (which I think does actually exist, although I may be wrong) with an ice-skating rink etc. carrying 3600 passengers:

Did anyone try booking the ship with the 150m long dry slope on it, just to see what they'd say?

There was a cruise line company that was REALLY looking at putting indoor snow on a dcruise liner, but they were having 'technical difficulties' last I head (on board avalanche in a storm?)

I assumed the joke cruise liner was a dry slope, seeing as there was no roof over it and they were in the West Indies. 150m wouldn't be a bad length - shorter than the one in Milton Keynes but longer than my nearest dry slope at Pembrey.

You'd have to have buffered railings down the sides though, or you'd end up water ski-ing

I know a travel agent who cruised on one of the RCCL ships that had the rink. She said it was way too small for a good skate. But saw a bunch of guys in hockey attire heading for the rink when she was leaving. She didn't wait to hear their comments. You can imagine .....
Age is but a number.
