I think I'll give it a go if its favourable conditions although it will be just me as the other 3 (1 skier, 2 boarders) won't do it and to be honest I wouldn't want them too at the moment as they need more confidence on reds before hitting the blacks.
I will however look for an easier black whilst there to see if I can get them to try it.
Tony, Skidaddle, is there a black run that you might say is an easier one in MH?

I think the black you're own about Skidaddle was easier than the red next to it.
The HK isn't really a problem at all if it's got snow on it. When we did it, it was the morning of the first day of the holiday and it had a good few inches of snow cover so we just went for it. Like I said is was our first every black run and it felt fine. As the week went on and the snow became ice it looked lethal. By some kind of twisted fate, the steepest part is also the narrowest so most people just run out of piste when it gets steep and end up stuck on the side. Get your turns in and it will be fine - providing the conditions are good.
I think you are right. Just the very bottom is a lot steeper, but otherwise its tame.
