Well Flog's one lift has got to be better than those old slow lifts of SC …... :(
Not seen the upgrades for this season then Ian?
At least they don't use horses for lift power as the Italians do!
OldAndy, you're right about the Italians :)
The horse power was still present at Armentarola earlier this month :) Found this clip from last year on Youtube, gives you an idea :)
No horses were seen in Folgarida last time I was there :) , although you could get a pull back on the slope by SnowCat after visiting Cascina Zeledria (Madonna d. Campiglio, off the blue 36)

Here's my favorite quote from the J2Ski Snow Report on Thursday 16 January:
"Conditions in France are excellent but Italy seems to be nosing ahead as the snowiest of the big four nations at present; reporting the world's deepest snowbase and a greater proportion of resorts with deeper snow (over 2m on upper slopes)."
.... so horses or not, Flogy seems to prepare well for our visit!!!!
  :P :P

Although there have been good dumps of snow 25-30cms on many recent occasions reported by J2 in snow & powder alarms for Folgarida the levels in the resort are still saying 40cm upper & 60cm lower which has been the same for many weeks.
Question: why have the levels not increased in the reports :?: :?:
