- swimming costume if you're somewhere with a sauna/jacuzzi

- tracksuit / snuggly clothes if you're in a catered chalet

- travel adaptors

- laminated name and mobile number to put in kids' pockets while they're on the mountain, just in case. anal, I know, but you can never do too much to protect your kids.

- new to my list, thanks to dave mac, a hat with a peak on it to stop the snow getting on your goggles/sunglasses. it's probably a personal thing though as I didn't see anyone copy me!

I want to start packing again now

Has anybody mentioned duct tape?

I always bring a roll.

So far I've used it at the aiport for emergency repairs to somebodies ski bag and last week to stick birthday balloons to a chair in the restaurant!

rolls are too heavy, you need it wrapped around things you're carrying anyway like ski poles, I also have cable ties and bits of wire for repairing bindings, snowshoes, sacks etc.
