Having used a Go Pro recently, the big thing for me was where non helmet wearers can place it when filming. I may invest in a harness on my chest, but the head strap is rubbish over a bobble.
And before any smartarse says it......the answer is NOT to buy a helmet.

I went last year on January 12th and skied powder every day, at that time of year it is very quiet so suited me down to the ground, plenty of skiing and snow should be pretty much guaranteed. The Aravis is a great place to ski
don't forget La Grand bornand just down the road.
If you decide to go PM me and I will try and give you some more information.

ian, just read your post with great interest. We are frustrated Australian skiers who have decided to spend some money and find some decent snow. Due to school holiday limits we plan to ski early Jan 2014. The resort you have written about sounds great but I am concerned that early in the season there may not be much snow. What do you think? Any other resorts in france, switzerland you could suggest for intermediate piste skiers.
thanks

There should be loads of snow there at that time...but if you are going by car it is only about an hour or so away from the Grande Massif or the Portes du Solaille ..both major ski areas

I went over New Year and there was plenty of snow. They put the cannons on once to top it up but there was a fair dump of the white stuff.
