Snowing in Folgarida …….

When I spoke to them they said that they had a J2ski group coming in february so they have increased the beer and wine deliveries :lol:

I looked at the webcams for Folgarida today,and they were all white!
The weather forecast says they expect 16 cm of snow in Folgarida today :)

Davidsa2 has now filled the last place in the mini-bus taxi between Verona airport and the Gran Baita hotel in Folgarida :)

We've currently got 20 skiers and boarders booked to come with us (Sunday 2nd to Sunday 9th February) occupying 12 rooms in the hotel. We're waiting for one person to book his flights and then there will be 21 people in the group :)

I block booked 10 rooms for the group months ago, which then increased to 12 rooms as more people decided to come with us.

If anyone else wants to come with us I will have to check with the hotel to make sure they have a suitable room available for them. And there aren't any more single rooms left so the options are either twin, double, triple, or family rooms.

Great to hear your ski trip is so well supported, I'm very jealous. Would love to come but unfortunately tied to school holidays. I'm sure you'll have fantastic time skiing in Folgarida & Marilleva (great black runs 1 Nera Folgarida and 25/26 Orti/Nera Marilleva), my favourite ski area is Madonna di Campiglio with loads of nice runs on both sides of town (and all cleverly connected). From M.di C. you can also go to Pinzolo, it takes 16 min by a modern Pinzolo-Campiglio Express. Have a great time everybody!
