What colours are in this season?

I was reading in various magazines that there is something of a comeback for 80s style garish colours this season, although I cant claim to have seen much of this in the shops, apart from the odd Westbeach jacket here and there.

So, what is everyone wearing this season, or planning to buy to wear?

Me: black sallopettes, black/grey insulated jacket or red lightweight jacket depending on conditions, grey bobble hat. Quite dull, but classy and stylish in my opinion, naturally.

Mrs H: white sallos, green insulated jacket, white hat. I think the word here is "visible". We know her affectionately as "froglet".

Daughter (21): Khaki insulated jacket, shocking pink sallopettes, white hat. Barbapapa springs to mind for some reason.

Son (18): Mustard sallopettes, brown jacket, brown hat. His look is more freestyle with loose bottoms.

Seems to be a lot of the usual red and black with a fair bit of white, as has been the case for a few seasons now - very safe and as you know,what I tend to go for.

The flashes of orange, green and bright blue that emerged last year are also about again I see.

I think brights look good, but not if they are all used together - some of the Westbeach stuff you mention looks hideous in my conservative, past-my-prime opinion... )

I've got black//grey salopettes and yellow/green jackets..

Would like this to go with. maybe santa?

Aubergine Betty Rides jacket, white roxy sallo's. Or Khaki green with white flowers o'Neil jacket with cream O'Neil sallo's. A variety of hats, wool or fur. Plus will be hiring thermal boots and suits in Finland, have no idea what they will look like, probably end up looking like a right dipstick.

Something dark to hide my wobbly bits :lol:

This season a new red Helly Hanson jacket, salopettes are black finished off with a Red hat. Although my fav hat is grey and black.
