In Austria, lunch for me usually involves either Spag Bol, Wiener Schnitzel or sometimes Bratwurst and chips. Not the best for the diet but its fuels you up for a days skiing.
I do have Goulash Soup a few times as well, massive chunks of meat and quite spicy too.

It will be interesting to see what we get served for dinner at the hotel when we are there.

Wickers will no doubt me moaning about it not being French Cuisine and the wine not being from the Rhone Valley..... )
www  New and improved me

TH - did you ever go to the bakery opposite the bottom of the Penken gondola, they did a great post ski snack of schnitzel in a semmel. Marvellous.

If you look on trip advisor it gives the hotel and food a big  , and I think I have already passed on the info that the hotel uses French wine ........ so main meals I think will be fine, lunch I think will be another kettle of fish, I do like Apfel Strudel so for lunch Apfel Strudel and beer

Germknodel (with gravel ha ha ha that made me laugh!), a Tyroler Grostl all washed down with an Almdudler... two weeks and counting till I get my fix!!

.. I still don't think he is convinced!!
Rather a bad day on the slopes than a good day in the office!

I just goggled that Tyroler Grostle .... I guess the closest description my tiny brain can describe it as
one of my cats Fur Balls
it certainly something I wouldn't fight the dog for
