I third the motion, although I may wear my rather fetching soft-shell at every opportunity I never wear my jacket when not snowboarding.

Sitting on the ICE train with a beer at the German station in Basel knowing that when it next moves I am seconds away from Switzerland proper!!

Oh dear. Ally, ski jackets are for skiing in. You need to have other coats and jackets for other events and weather.But you should always save your ski jacket for skiing, to make it special.AllyG wrote:Really? Ski kit is for the snow (and not the 10 cm we have had rescently.
I mean - would you wear goggles walking down the street in the UK, just because there is snow on the ground and the sun is out???
I think not!!
