This could be embarrassing...


Is no. 2 Sestriere? It looks like the fairly bleak and exposed area at the top.

It is, in fact you were sat next to me when I took that photo.
Its the top part of the Banchetta run, above the tree line quite high up Monte Motta. It was very quiet up there that day.



No ones had a stab at pic 1 yet.....

Youre only saying that because you dont recognise it and its a place you know I have been to which you havent, so yes - thats an unfair suggestion.

Its Verbier, of course.

The lovely long red from Mont Fort down to Le Chaux. Stunning in the sunlight, not quite so enjoyable in the fog. Remember the run I told you I skied straight off the edge of......well thats it! Fortunately my 20m drop was into deep powder, not a rock in sight!

I am out of places now for people to guess at, but just for the sake of looking at some nice views, here you go. Someone else can take over now.












Can you tell I am looking forward to the season ahead????
