If I had not got on so well with the two single people I met thru ski forums (this one and snowheads ) I would have skied with people from the chalet. The occasional time I got lost alone on piste (strayed a bit) people were incredibly helpful and sometimes I followed them(visibility was poor at times).
The girl I met thru here was better than me so we met at the top and bottom and she did reds/ blacks and I did blues. We flew out together and shared a room ar the chalet.
Chalet Le Prele was a brilliant experience. I cannot imagine a more luxurious holiday (but apparently this was only middle quality in the luxury range) tastefully decorated, cosy, fab meals, close to bus route to two different ski areas, helpful re transfers and ski pass pick up. Girl I was with changed boots every day and guy came early and late to the chalet .thanks you so much Snapazz for the tip. I never got to see the hotel which I'm sure was just as lovely.
One hour fifteen transfer from geneva you can't go wrong really.
Looking to come back in march 14 for self catering with family. Def Morzine and Portes de Soleil area.
Sorry should have posted this in correct section! Maybe I'll copy and paste to encourage other single travellers.
I pleased you had a fab time and that the skis were OK
Isn't that Ally's standard line?
