where is this picture ??? keeping my eye on chamonix and praying. lots if snot that wad forecast seems to have gone which is a concern. went from showing over 75cm. to less than 30cm. just hope that comes.

I bet you are happy now AH, it looks great, I nearly booked VAL, but fancied a change.
No Snow at village level in Cham but lots up high.

Well - a general covering of snow across French Alps, quite light but lovely to see.
Been trying to see how low down the snow went without much success. 1600m at least.
More forecast for tonight - and the forecasters got this one right thank goodness.
What's it like in Austria, Switzerland .... ???

LDA has a dusting in resort this morning, think that's about 1650m, and looking at the forecast/hearing from people in resort, more on the way - woohoo!!
Up there for thinking, down there for skiing...

Snow forecast, freeze/thaw level etc going up and down like a yo-yo at the moment.
The high pressure stuck over central/eastern europe seems to be shifting but putting up a fight.
Andy - I'd still pack my shorts if I were you :mrgreen:

Look how early you all got up to look at web cams!!
In 3v meribel does not have snow at resort level nor does la tania. About 1400m. Vt has plenty :)
