And, I'm working my way through my exercise book.

I do those exercises when I'm watching telly and the ads are on. It's surprising how many squats etc. one can do during the ads

The wellies will provide great benefit. Make sure there is a wooden board in the bottom of them for best effect though!

I've never had a problem with my arms, and dont know anyone else who has. Is this normal or does it suggest a problem somewhere?

I think that depends on how much you use your poles to push along the flat sections! )

Or how many times you have to pick yourself up after falling!!!

Or maybe by holding the drag lift the wrong way? Seriously, a mate of mine came off his board half way up a LONG drag and held on to the button all the way up to the top. His arms were, deservedly, aching!!!!

I can't ever remember having aching arms during a skiing holiday but then I'm a bit lazy and will avoid flat runs and drag (as in pully) lifts at all costs, so no excess use of arms for me.

Look on the bright side Ally with all that arm usage you'll be keeping the bingo wings at bay! :D

I think this fits in line with my way of thinking.

I like it.

1. Drag lifts are not usually designed to drag you up the hill by your arms.

2. Flat sections can be crossed using skating steps on skis, with minimal use of poles.

Both of these should be considered as basic skills. :D
