You guessed right Dids :D Been before though so I knew what to expect. Loved going back again
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

I've just been looking at some lovely photos of my friends boarding in Niederau, and I can see why people keep going back there. The scenery is amazing, and the slope they're on looks pretty steep to me - a black I should say, and certainly not suitable for beginners. They were there over New Year and you can see in the photos that there was plenty of snow :D

I think you will find Ally that most alpine resorts have great scenery

Ally are your friends photos or vids on YouTube? I wouldn't mind having a look if they are. See if I can spot me or MrEvs in the background too

You are right in saying most...not all...ever been to Prato Nevoso?

Don't.

But we're talking about Niederau...and I think I want to go there!!!

But, then...I'd go anywhere...I think i could persuade the OH to go, but could be madness..he's talking about Scotland and I'm backing off.

Not that I don't know that people do have an amazing time - if they are lucky with all the components - but it's just so far to go and be disappointed...

You beat me to it. You also have to remember that Niederau is a small hill, and not a big mountain.
