Nice boots BTW.
The difference to your skiing from a new properly fitting pair of boots is totally satisfying, isnt it????

Yes, I was quite happy with my other boots, but the new ones are just a dream...Turns out my other boots were half a size too small!

Thanks Olly...Tim did not get a telling off, I was too busy crying. Then I pulled myself together and did everything I had to, to make sure the holiday wasn't spoilt. We had fun, Tim's highlight of the week had to be him bum boarding over two jumps and then disappearing into the distance/darkness as he shot down the piste, unable to stop!

Glad to hear everything worked out okay in the end :D

What are you going to do with your extra set of ski gear now? Sell it on ebay?

I don't know, I might get round to putting a few bits on ebay, to help pay my credit card bill which as you can imagine took a battering in Les Men!

I won't be able to sell my old boots as they have been adjusted to accomodate a bunion on one foot. It's a shame as they are only three years old...Only been used for four weeks.

What a horrid way to start your holiday. I'm glad there was a happy ending for you (though not for scapula's pockets)
Hope you had a great holiday. Washing and repacking now I'd imagine :D

tahiti gra wrote:so can you take ski boots on as hand luggage as i am flying out to salzberg end of feb(normally drive)

Double check with the airline. I have flown ryan air a few years ago with boots as hand lugguage but when flying to canada with monarch they are classed as dangerous items so have to go in the hold.

Hope that helps
