Thanks for the report - brings ack lots of memories! We hae been to Vars for the last 5 years - creatures of habit!

There are very few Brits. Personally I refer Vars but DH often skiied with DS in the afternoons with the mission of exploring Risoul more and he found runs we have never done before (and we ski hard and long!!).

We always stay in the Village Club de Soleil -all inclusive including skis and lift passes and in a ski in ski out position. Out of school holidays it is actually quite reasonable! As we drive flights are not an issue! I would say it takes about 3h from just north of Marseille Airport. On a Saturday afternoon it can get busy at the end of the motorway!!
