I'm gonna be grumpy in every restaurant that sells Goulash soup ....... What else do Austrians eat apart fom Sausage, Schnitzel and Goulash Soup, It really isn't the food capitol of Europe

I had a fantastic roast rack of lamb last Friday in Kitzbuhel. Complete with veg and rosemary potatoes for the princely sum of 18 euros. That was in a pretty decent restaurant too, pint of beer was only 3.8 euro as well.

I had the Goulash soup a couple of times for lunch, and am now a convert. Excellent stuff :D Another dish I had for lunch was a platter of local meats and cheeses, with various pickles [that shredded horseradish has a kick  ] and a glass of schnapps, what's not to like about that?

Mrs W had for lunch in Adelboden a couple of years back, it looked like she was eating gravy,I'm quite partial to mountain ham and cheese for lunch ........ might be something the Austrians can't ruin.
All I ever here is how cheap Austria is ... all I can say it better be as I'm only taking 30 bob spending money
