Cardona Ski Resort in New Zealand has released plans to add an extra 150 hectares of new terrain in 2025.
A new 6-seater detachable Doppelmayr chairlift will be installed in Soho Basin over the southern hemisphere summer, ready to open for winter in June 2025.
Cardrona -the largest ski area in NZ - bought the rights to the Soho Basin area in 2008.
The new Soho Basin Express lift will open up some exciting terrain with plenty of steeps and a vertical drop of 380m and stunning views of the Southern Alps & the Wakatipu Basin.
