Bandit - which country are you in and how high are you?

I just checked the webcams for Morillon (well Les carroz and Samoens actually as Morillons are not up and running yet :)) and there seems to have been a dump overnight as forecast

6 days to go :D
mum works too hard to pay for the ski trips!

cwagner, I'm in French speaking Switzerland, and today I skied back to the resort which is at 1500m. Lifts are still shut, but that does not usually stop me from skiing :

There has been no dump overnight, they have had the snow cannons on.

Cwagner,
Have a look at this web site.
The web cam is for Les Esserts at 1100mts. It is at the start of where each of your days skiing will begin.
Thursdays weather forecast coud]ldn't be more exciting for you.

I was told "if you lean, you fall". I've tried and I did.

Damn big snow cannons those are...

Chill people (literally); it is currently cold in Les Alps, it is going to get c-o-l-d-e-r for a few days and then it's going to snow. There might even be some more snow too.

In fact, next week is looking sufficiently cold and snowy that Xmas is being packed up as we speak and certain J2Skiers may well be going mobile in the direction of the Grand Massif.

A heads-up for anyone traveling this coming weekend; the forecasts are quite volatile still but Friday and Saturday are in the firing line for some quite widespread snow, not just in the Alps but possibly Northern France too. So be prepared and watch the forecast threads...

Don't worry about the rain the cannons have been blowing for the last 48 hours and there seems to be 50cm of snow on the way, so looking good for xmas :D :D :D
