I like my vin chaud at the end of the day or maybe a beer at happy hour. Then its wine with dinner in the chalet, but never enough that I might not feel fit to ski in the morning.
I wouldn't take the chance of missing any of my precious time on the slopes.

You dont have to get on a flight to get pissed.
You have to catch a flight to ski on snow.
A few beers or glasses of wine are fine but do you really want to die from a hangover on the slopes?
When in doubt?....Flat out.

I get drunk most evenings on a skiing holiday but I only need a few to get to that stage.

Usually I have a hot chocolate, with something a bit stronger in it, late morning. I don't drink alchohol at lunchtime and then always have a Jaegermeister late afternoon when we finish skiing. It's vodka and diet coke from then on until bed time which is usually some time between 10 and midnight. I am always the first up and I don't usually get hangovers!

Is it just me or could I drink to my hearts content some years ago and NOT have a hangover? This no longer seems to be the case and I was always convinced the altitude was saving me from hangovers.

These days I like a beer with lunch, a vin chaud at the end of the day and a few wines with dinner. Never in bed later than midnight.

Yawn.

Well Gareth I never suffer with a hangover this was the reason for the forum question, but when you ski in some of the groups I do then I am afraid a drink is part and parcel of our trip.

I always catch the first chairlift BRIGHT EYED AND BUSHY TAILED.
www  I USED TO BE VERY INDECISIVE BUT I`M NOT TO SURE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
