we are flying out of florence but its very small so we can fly out of pisa or milan, preferably pisa but the problem is that most cheap airlies (ie ryan air) wont fly into and out of a lot of cities. they pretty much dont fly anywhere that would help us in switzerland. we're willing to take a long ass train ride but most of them arent cheap either. we're trying to do this entire trip under 500 euro. the closest option we've got so far is verbier. the air fair we found to chamonix is 178 and when adding everything up it cost us 515 and that doesnt include transportation from geneva to chamonix. ahhh! :o(

Why not travel up to Cervinia from where you are.. about 4 hours. From Cervinia you SHOULD be able to ski into Zermatt. Hey presto.... Switzerland.

Ah didn't read the snowboarding part. You have just dipped massively in my estimations!

you wouldnt happen to know how to figure out lift ticket pries would you? i know, i know...im asking you a thousand questions, im really sorry, but anytime you want to give up on helping me..dont feel bad. :o)
