I wish.

Nope, this was booked up in September.
It's only a slope.

Yes, I'm in Leeds and the flood warnings are out.

Arriving Saturday (and staying at the Vicky too - apologies to everybody in advance), scouring the net for weather info and I'm already carving turns in my sleep.

Can't wait.

Jan's hill has had a dusting so I expect the other side of the valley to have had some fresh snow too.

As I type the weather is cloudy at 3 degrees.

No carving in my sleep but my desktop has a webcam and weather report from Niederau!

Not to mention the Tirol calender with a snowy Oberau for January.

Sad old git.
It's only a slope.

Well, I reckon Dave Mac will be easy to spot (didn't he say he skis with a guitar in one hand and a beer in the other?)... all you need to do is regularly stand upside down as per your picture... and I think Hamish just said he's got a screw loose? 8)

Job done...

So if we get some j2ski beanies, or something similar, made up - would anyone want one/wear one?

Well there's good news and bad news

We did indeed have some snow today. It started during the night and has continued during the day but the temps have been quite high so it's been a kind of wet snow in the village :( However, on the slopes it's been falling as good snow and I'm sure the piste bashers will have it in top conditions by the morning.

All this being said, the pistes are in almost perfect conditions (barring the Lanerkopfl, which is sketchy at best), although anyone arriving for next week will not be disappointed, with low temps overnight the pistes have been wonderful in the morning and not deteriorating until the very last thing, post 16:15 …

Just as an observation, the forecasts on J2Ski have been very accurate when looking into the next 24hrs which is more than can be said for some sites )

See ya all here soon!

(Oh, and Mr Admin, when does the J2Ski shop open for us to swath ourselves in merchandise to allow easy recognition in resort?)

Happy Hols

Mr Admin,

How can you ask:

So if we get some j2ski beanies, or something similar, made up - would anyone want one/wear one?

Sure I would 8) Class is eternal, just hope it doesn't clash with my Nivica Neon One-Piece

Where do I sign?
