fingers crossed, bottom line is i am flying from Australia to visit family then skiing, if i have to pay more to ski i guess i have too. Either that or destroy my liver

Hi
We are off to Niederau on 20th December and I am stressing, I thought we would at least have the option of the Ski Welt if things were bad. It seems it has snowed in all other areas of Austria apart from this region. Is it do-able to travel from Niederau to the Glacier?

Damn forecast has gone backwards. still holding out some hope as i don't get to St Anton till the 27th and things can change pretty quick but its grim right now.
At least i can see the guns have been going, hopefully things will improve.

A dusting of new snow and cold temperatures on the webcams from the Ski Juwel this morning. So, perhaps, things are looking up there.

snow guns can only do so much, better than nothing though
