Blue skies again this morning. Pay no attention to snow forecast.com as apparently it should be raining this morning! Had a hard day's skiing yesterday and legs are very tired.....but heading out soon for our final day.
Will upload a report when we return to the UK.
Well, that's it for this season.

Well according to, er, us... you're looking at light rain mid to late afternoon, turning to sleet later and snow this evening and overnight.
Looking like a big snowfall tomorrow and more Sunday.
J2Ski Snow Forecast for Zermatt
One of the lifts in Ischgl registered 27 degrees - presumably for this reason. I think the shade temperature was probably about 5 degrees. This does, though, give some sense of the intensity of the sun on the slopes and, perhaps, accounts for the slush on sunny slopes

Well I had planned to go to Glenshee today, but did a rethink. So I am on the early morning tomorrow, (Friday), flight into Munich, arrive Niederau in time to catch the Gondola. Then a couple of days skiing, 5.30pm train to Munich on Sunday, and late flight back to Edinburgh.
Sunday is Saisonendetag, the last day of the season. It is a unique day ~ the tourists have all gone home, the Gondola is free, a large number of locals go up to the top, so will have a mixed day of skiing and chatting to friends. There are a couple of local bands turn up ~ I joined in one a few years back!
Great snow, especially in the mornings, and hot, hot weather!
And, travelling light, 8.5kgm, inc boots and painting gear!
