That was me :) Really wasn't expecting it to be that slippery :)

Exactly the same thing happened to me a few years ago when the instructor told me to walk up the side of the dry slope (off the edge of the mat I mean) in my ski boots before I put my skis on. It was raining slightly and the rubbery mat underneath was all slippery and I went over Bang! I had a really sore backside for about 3 weeks - reckon I damaged my coccyx or something

AND I looked really stupid

Well done for being brave enough to put a video up of yourself looking, well you know, like me, - excellent slapstick comedy

Superdevoluy is awesome (don't tell everyone dont want to spoil the hidden gem)and super cheap. There are loads of ski touring opportunities and saw some great hike to ride areas just across the valley. It is quite low at 1500m start but seems to hold the snoow fairly well.

It was described as a hidden gem when we went. I had to go at Feb half term have been twice to La joue and each time there were only us and a couple of other british there - not crowded either not a large area and very quiet in La Joue but some Lovely runs from the easy wide long green down to Devoluy to the black 'La Mur' but...
Ssshhhh Lets keep it quiet

I borrowed a go-pro for the last week to play with. I'll post some video soon, but what I've found is that a 5 foot collapsible hiking pole not only make the the normal pole video better but allows the camera to get much closer to the action when videoing others.
because I'm so inclined .....
