Chalet Deux Lacs?
Wow you were ripped off I brought my clips for 99p
Yeah it could be, like I say never noticed what it's called but it's directly to the side of that lift so you can't miss it.... Very good food indeed. Oh and get there early as it gets packed.

I'm not sure what the place is called (maybe someone will tell us) but the restaurant at the top of the 2 Lacs chair in VT is a very nice place to eat. Big outside area if it's nice weather too..... Great burgers, and really nice spag Bol...

For good value apres ski in Val Thorens, we found this place to be great:
http://www.rhumbox.fr/RhumBox_Val_Thorens_-_La_plus_haute_rhumerie_dEurope/Accueil.html
It's a small place tucked away at the side of Galerie Peclet. owned and run by a very nice chap.
It has a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
A very large measure of infused rum is 6 Euros (two ladles worth = probably about 100 ml) . There are 30 flavours to choose from. We found two of these was plenty and were surprised not to have a massive hang over the next morning.
We recommend Rum 44 (orange and coffee), ginger, vanilla, and the violet flavours.
Well worth checking out.

Courchevel 1550 is very cheap, and it only takes about 5 minutes to ski down to it from 1850, or about 10 mins to get back up in the gondola. e.g. had vegetable stew for 4.50 euros.

France sounds expensive...can anyone give me a vague idea re prices please? I hate the idea of wandering around for 20 mins to find a cheap pizza!
