For early December, that's definitely a good plan. If it snows, you'll have empty slopes, cheap flights and plenty of accommodation choices... and everyone pumped for the new season when you get there!

Steve, you will find there is heaps of info on J2. You can also get good accomodation propects from the listings, and good ski hire with skiset. I have used both myself,particularly skiset.
