In the same week, two pairs of Nordica boots, ordered from Germany, delivered in 5 days.
Also, one Guide Dog puppy, our ninth.

I had difficulty in locating these boots, so I dropped a note on a BASI site. CEM made some strong efforts, involving the UK Nordica rep, much appreciated. But it was Swingbeep that gave me the pointer to the shop in Mainz, Germany. I originally wanted a pair for Frau Mac, but then decided to buy a pair for myself, ~ I will leave these in Niederau, with my skis. (Thus enabling me to go skiing just with hand baggage!) Very grateful to Swingbeep!

Enough about the boots. More about the puppy!
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

Fur lined boots this year then Dave?

You might need a second puppy if you want to do both pairs though...

Actually, Adders is right, and we do have two puppies just now. One will go up for harness training in December. This one is just 8 weeks old, her name is Bracken, and we trained her father, Ashley, who went to stud in Leamington Spa centre. A bit frustrating, because you have to do the full training GD programme, just in case they don't make it on the breeding programme. On the other hand, Ashley has sired over 40 working GDs, so some comfort. (And he is still going strong, so to speak!)

I get away with this, because Ashley was into snowsports:
