I'm a tea girl at heart. When I say I hate coffee, its more that I have to be in the mood for coffee (which is rare), and someone else has to make it. Cappucinos are the best Ive had so far, in fact the best coffee I had was at a little cafe in Christchurch in Dorset.

Black and strong is the only way

I agree, it has to be black to be right. The stronger it is the better

And that is why it has to be Italian 8)

I decided it was about time to start getting fit again, as I've got about 12 weeks before my ski holiday.

Yesterday I jogged about 1/4 mile and today my legs hurt. Honestly! Last year I'd got so fit I could run 3 miles no problem.

Maybe I should book myself into an old folks home for a week instead

Thanks Ian,
I did think to myself, if I posted what exercise I'd done on here each day then I'd have to do it, because otherwise everyone would nag me about it.

It's blowing about force 10 here at the moment, but at least it's not raining yet, so I could go out for another gentle jog, and try some stretches out of my get fit for ski-ing book.

My exercise regime starts tonight, I'm going to the dry ski slope. My sons G/F is coming skiing with us over the new year and she is a complete beginner. She has her first lesson tonight. I was going to sit in the bar and watch but after reading this thread again I've decided to do a bit of recreational skiing myself.

Snowb4ndit,
I hope you have a good time on the artificial slope - are you going to one with a mat or one with artificial snow?

It has a mat and the slope is not that big which is why I was going to watch because I get bored quickly. But I'm going to view it as excersize/prep for my ski holidays coming up.

It is a good idea although I am not a lover of Plastic slopes as I seem to spend more time on the tow than I do on the slope, but it does prep the muscles.
