Les Deux Alpes

We have decided to go to Les Deux Alpes for our first skiing holiday. I would like to experience a chalet. I would like something very central, would you have any recommendations as it would be greatly appreciated, there are only 2 of us. As we are going from Monday to Sunday, we are only getting 5 days skiing so we were looking at private lessons. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You may struggle with a chalet as I would guess most of them would be based on a weeks's stay, particularly in the peak season. There are plenty of hotels that would be able to accommodate you for a 5 day stay, I am sure, suggest you have a look on Trip Advisor or www.2alpesnet.com for listings for hotels. Many will be used by tour operators, but will probably gave rooms to let out to private bookings.

I seem to recall that many of the chalets in LDA are slightly out of town - could be wrong on this one. Lots of hotels v central and close to beginner slopes.
