distances from Garmin last week in les arc which do include lifts as well.

thansk for this..is there any way of taking out the lifts, as it needs to be miles skied. It was miles not kms?

Yes it was miles. I am sure there are some apps out there that will measure only ski miles but mine is a triathlon watch so doesnt have that ability.

I did the scope ski marathon a few years back. 130km in 2 days. From intermediates upwards. Everyone completed it except 2 with knee ligament issues. Its fantastic and would recommend it to everyone. I think we raised about £60k for children with cerebral palsy.

Amazing Adam..well done you! The Charity is alreday in place and we have alredy committed to going to the 3 Valleys but ceratinly has given us an idea of what could be done. The 130kms included lifts or just distance you actually skied?

If you divide MogulMonkey's miles by 2 you'll probably be about right. 20 miles per day average. Depends on the speed of the lifts in proportion to the runs. Pick one long run with a fast lift and you can increase your ratio. The Cucumelle in Serre Chevalier is 3.8 km long and with the new chairlift you could do 3 runs an hour over 7 hours = 80 km a day = 50 miles a day.
